Concluding Ceremony of M. Phil (STED) Workshops:
Secondary Teacher Education Department has arranged group training workshops for the course Teaching Strategies 1 and 11 from 23rd May, 2011 to 4th June, 2011. Concluding ceremony was held on 4th June, 2011 in Committee room of Faculty of Education. Prof. Dr. Rehana Masrur was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani Resource Person, Mrs Munazza Ambreen, Course Coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Tanveer Afzal Lecturer STED and Miss Shaheen Ashraf Research Associate STED were also present in the ceremony. Participants of the workshops appreciated the department for providing a conducive learning environment during the workshops.
They said that during workshops they not only got advantage to learn from the knowledgeable and expert resource persons but it also provided them an opportunity for peer learning. Presentations and group activities, they thought, would be particularly useful in developing their communication, presentation and interactive skills as well as enhancing creativity and application of knowledge. Prof. Dr. Rehana Masrur said that scholars are the real drivers of the society. Being the creator and disseminator of knowledge, highly competent, committed and patriotic scholars are indispensable for the country's socio-economic advancement. AIOU is committed to produce high quality scholars through best post graduate and research degree programs. At the end, she expressed her best wishes for the participants.
